Earth Loop Impedance Testing

In this online course, we will cover the reasons why an Earth Loop Test should be carried out before each repair, what the test is checking for, and how to carry out the test using an Earth Loop Tester.

These tests are mandatory requirements within any reputable repair business and are essential to the safety of both yourself and any user of an appliance that you repair.

Who would take this course?

This course has been designed for people with limited or no knowledge of Earth Loop Impedance Testing. You do not have to have any experience repairing appliances to take this course.

If you have no prior test meter experience, we recommend that you either attend our Training Centre for thorough theory and practical training (link here) or at the very least, find a professional in your area that is happy to take you with them for a day or so to give you some practical experience before you start testing on your own.
