A City & Guilds Assured and CPD Accredited online training course covering the basics of Dishwasher faults and repairs.

In this online course, we will cover the components that make up most domestic / household dishwashers, what functionality each component has, and what can go wrong with them.

Upon completion of this online course, you will receive a CPD Accreditation Certificate demonstrating that you have sat this course and that you have an understanding of dishwasher components with an option to upgrade to the City & Guilds Assured Standard.

Who would take this course?

This course has been designed for people with limited or no knowledge of dishwasher repairs. You do not have to have any experience repairing appliances to take this course. This course is ideal for beginners and DIY enthusiasts. This online module does not show you how to remove components from any appliance, this online module will cover each component in-depth to explain what the components do, what can go wrong with them and demonstrate how to test them.

Course Advice…

If you are doing anything more than a DIY repair for yourself, in other words, you intend on using this online course to embark on a career repairing appliances, then we recommend, that you complete the Insulation and Earth Continuity Testing Course and the Earth Loop Testing Course prior to learning how to repair dishwashers. These are 3 independent electrical safety tests that should be carried out before any repair and after any repair in the case of Insulation and Earth Continuity Testing.
